DO YOU KNOW THE 7 Dont's after a Meal
All of us make little health mistakes that cause damage to our bodies in the long run - simply because we are unaware we are doing something wrong. Here are some important and simple tips everybody need to know and implement in their daily life!!
Don't smoke- Experiment from experts proves that smoking a cigarette after meal is comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes (chances of cancer is higher).
Don't eat fruits immediately - Immediately eating fruits after meals will cause stomach to be bloated with air. Therefore take fruit 1-2 hr after meal or 1hr before meal.
Don't drink tea - Because tea leaves contain a high content of acid. This substance will cause the Protein content in the food we consume to be hardened thus difficult to digest.
Don't loosen your belt - Loosening the belt after a meal will easily cause the intestine to be twisted & blocked.
Don't bathe - Bathing will cause the increase of blood flow to the hands, legs & body thus the amount of blood around the stomach will therefore decrease. This will weaken the digestive system in our stomach.
Don't walk about - People always say that after a meal walk a hundred steps and you will live till 99. In actual fact this is not true. Walking will cause the digestive system to be unable to absorb the nutrition from the food we intake.
Don't sleep immediately - The food we intake will not be able to digest properly. Thus will lead to gastric & infection in our intestine.

Priyanka, some of these seem very practical, but others are contrary to what has been recommended by health professionals, and others seem... well, silly.
For example, intestines can't be "twisted" by loosening one's belt. Your intestines don't move around all over the place. Plus, it takes HOURS before the food is digested enough to move out of the stomach into the intestines. That particular suggestion defies practicality and logic.
Don't walk after a meal? That suggestion is incompatible with science. 100 steps wouldn't make a difference either way, but many health professionals do recommend walking - whenever - as a good practice.
I don't really understand where these suggestions came from, but I certainly don't think they are factual.

hi rebecca
im also nursing my son his now 1 6/12. to make sure that you have more milk production its important to empty milk before feeding to other side. you can feed the baby in the breast that he last fed before transferring to the otherside to make sure that it will be empty with milk. congratulatios for your new baby!
