Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Change IPC to new team

I wouldn't spend a lot of time worrying about this creating a huge
ripple effect. Very few people are willing to suspend their account and
wait six months, almost all do try and bloom where they are planted.
Where I live almost everyone is 'under' one person who has been doing
this since just about the beginning. I've heard a couple people consider
doing this but haven't seen anyone actually do it and there are a lot of
people on our team.
I have seen people who stopped ordering and stopped using their oils
(probably because they got no support) and a couple years later have a
friend who used and decided to start again and switch and it isn't
uncommon for an upline to request that a downline who hasn't ordered in
six month send in a request to move somewhere that benefits them more
but the truth is, this option is rarely used.
That said, the fact is that this is something that is allowed in the
policy manual and it is a legal avenue to take if someone wants to move
that bad. Keep in mind if that person has anyone below them, they do not
take them with them, they just move up on the leg they are at.
Do we cross recruit or recommend this? No we don't. The only time I have
ever mentioned it is when I've been directly asked and the response has
always been that it is too much effort.
I will say that I wish there was an avenue for people who have signed up
under someone who were blatantly lied to that it didn't make any
difference who they signed up under. My team has been directed that we
tell them that the person who enrolls them makes a commission and they
can chose who is best for them. I just have to have faith that if we
keep following the rules and holding to a higher standard that we'll be
rewarded for that, even if that reward is simply being able to sleep at
night.
