Re: [Everything doTERRA] Who gets Enrollment

Okay everyone, this is another response to this issue. I am heartsick that there are so many of you with this problem, but I also recognize that we can't eliminate the predators but what tears us asunder also makes us stronger.

There are certain protocols to follow. For one: make a complete list of people that have been taken from you, even to the point of an affidavit from each one that you enrolled (or thought you enrolled) stating that they enrolled with you and then you attach another affidavit to it telling that your upline (give the name) insisted that she send in the paperwork. Then you fill out an exception form, that is available from placements@doterra.com, just ask them to email it to you without getting too involved in your story. Once you have your packet ready (make sure you keep copies).
Now this exception form requires all signatures from your upline, you get as many as you can and then just print the names on the appropriate line for those who would not sign, with another affidavit requesting steps be taken to contact this upline and explain that an investigation is being opened regarding the poaching of their down lines IPC's. Now I would send this packet registered mail (signature required) to ddoxey@doterra.com, legal counsel for doTerra.

I know this really is a lot of work and effort but somewhere we need to show these predators that we will not stand for this.

Also when you call doTerra and try to get things fixed they really have no way to just hand these people back to you without jeopardizing themselves. I remember when one of my leaders was poached from me and I was told that they simply didn't have the needed manpower to investigate these assumptions.

I actually had the proof but made a conscious decision to let it go, determining that she was not the quality of person I wanted in my group.

And here is the caveat, NEVER HAND YOUR PAPERWORK OVER TO ANYONE!! If you are not sure how to enroll someone just call member services and they will help you through the process. You are in control of your own group, when you enrolled you became an INDEPENDENT Product Consultant and thereby your own boss. We have uplines to teach us, but there are other ways to learn, such as:

Lets stick together and not allow others to ruin the reputation of this amazing company.

Blessings to all,

Pat

Gin,

This is interesting. Have you had success doing this? We have been having these same issues for nearly a year. Our upline has been really dishonest. We have tried to do what you're suggesting and everything was denied. We have worked with legal and corporate and nothing has been fixed. Our team has lost sooooo many enrollments, people have been placed in a different leg so our upline would get their power of 3 check and DC issues. We have one lady that called and begged doTerra to move her under us where she wanted to be and they would not fix it. We worked with placements and they refused because the enroller would not sign off on it. This particular lady has fallen away because she is not in the business she intended to be a part of.

Its seems there are so many problems, it really makes me sad. It is one thing for people to be dishonest, but it's sad doTerra isn't fixing these problems. I read your response and am curious if you had these experiences and how you fixed them??

What your upline is doing is wrong, unethical and completely outside of
doTERRA's philosophy.
If it was me I would handle it simply by making a list of everyone I had
worked with at the event and where I wanted them. I would call the
upline immediately and schedule a time to talk face to face. I would sit
down and simply say that what she is doing is unacceptable and you want
her to email placements advising them that they were entered incorrectly
and the changes that should be made and to cc you. Or if she has a
special line call it. I would ask her to do it right in front of you. If
any fast start has been processed then she should write you a check for it.
If she refuses I would call doTERRA and ask for legal and discuss it
with them. I would ask customer service who is the Diamond above you and
their contact information. And lastly and I know it is unpopular I would
contact your friends and explain what happened and let them know you
have no problem with them staying where they were placed if that is what
they chose, however, if they intended or thought they were going under
you have them call doTERRA or email placements. I would provide them
with something like this to send placements from the email address on
their IPC account:
Dear placements:
I went to an event and enrolled. When I did so I was introduced to
doTERRA and invited to the event by Jane Doe. When I filled out my
enrollment it was with the intent to enroll under her. I have since
discovered that the enrollment form was entered on the computer by
someone else who did not follow my wishes. I am hoping that you can
correct this error, please change my enroller to Jane Doe IPC# 1234 and
sponsor Jane Smith IPC#5678. Thank you.
I know confrontation is hard but if you just go in and do it calmly and
don't allow yourself to get upset or angry it will be fine. The hardest
part is making yourself do it. And remember when she lies (and she will)
just keep repeating. I need you to fix this and I need it fixed
immediately. She will lie, justify and try and convince you to do this
for the better of the team. It is not for the betterment of the team it
is for her advantage and it is stealing.
Never allow her to touch your enrollment forms again. I don't let anyone
enter my enrollment forms and neither does my team. The exception is
Diamond club and I watch those carefully and make sure they show up timely.
Regardless, I would go up the chain of command in your team and talk to
the Diamond above you and make sure s/he know what is going on. I
wouldn't be shy about letting your friends who also got taken advantage
of know too.
I can also tell you that she will keep doing it if you don't take action
and you will regret it later. I have many friends who have sat back and
done nothing and now are stuck dealing with the consequences.
A new enrollment can be moved once in the first 30 days and not after
that. She can transfer the enrollment to someone, however, it is where
they are and they do not move. As an example, I enroll Mary Smith and
place her under Jane Doe. Jane is an Executive. Then people are placed
under Mary by us and she has her own little leg. When Jane has met the
requirements to qualify for Silver I transfer the enrollment to Jane so
she can make her rank.
Yes if you are not the enroller you get nothing. If she is placed under
you after 60 days you get unilevel. Depending on where possibly it can
effect your power of 3.

PS - I should add, I'm not suggesting you do anything I have not done
myself.
