Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: If I sign up a Prof Accout, how (as an IPC) am I rewarded for their purchases?

The owner would be the IPC and they would put their business under them as a preferred customer. The business gets a better discount depending on how much he spends, but he has to buy at least $500. a month or more to start getting any good discounts. Also you do not get uni level for their overall volume you only get a percentage of it.

Theoretically how would a membership work for a business, such as a spa. Would the owner be the IPC or the business? How are the taxes etc handled?

Ginny,
My advice is to stay away from the professional account, you make very little from them and if can talk them into going with the IPC account you are better all the way around.

Is there still a Professional Account, someone told me that they were discontinuing them. In Justin's webinar about Preferred Members he says that for retail accounts that Preferred Member status is best because they make more money, and gave good examples of it. My thought was if I was doing this I would have the business set up a Preferred Member with an EIN and then the individual with an IPC account so they'd sell retail but if they signed people up it would be under them so they could take advantage of both.
Thoughts? (I should add that I don't have any prospects I've worked with, just my thoughts if I did).

What Pat is sharing is correct for a Preferred Customer account, but
for a Professional account, the payout isn't as good.  You earn
commissions from Professional Accounts through the Unilevel bonus, so
depending what level the PA is on, that's what percentage you will
earn.  That would mean as little as 2% or 3%, and you don't have any
possibility of Fast Start bonuses.  The best thing is to enroll them
as an IPC, which gives them the chance to enroll their clients as
Preferred Customers OR IPCs, earning more money for them.

Your percentage starts at 10% (your preferred account receives a 20%
discount) anything over $550.00 pv and you get cash back of 10% of the 500.
The percentage increases in increments of 500.pv up to 25% cash back per
month.
