I used this oil today with a laboring client along with several others but mainly clary sage and geranium
To augment her labor
She has labored on and off for 4 days with 8 to 9 hours of contractions each day then they stop
So we started using the oils and some other techniques this morning
We have been using the clary sage and geranium most of the day they are currently 3 mins apart and intense
All is well she is in shower. Why I am emailing smile
Will let you know how it goes I think we will be headed to birth center soon

My midwife is an experienced essential oil user who is currently looking into Doterra. She mentioned the other day that she has never seen Clary Sage used successfully for labor augmentation. I assume we are talking about a labor that is lagging or perhaps a situation where membranes have ruptured and contractions have not begun. (We are not talking about inducing labor early just for fun.) I have no experience with Clary Sage in this context. I know we have several midwifes in this forum, can any of you speak from experience about this?
