Dr. Knueven has written two books on holistic veterinary care and is considered one of the leading experts in the field, and owns the veterinary clinic I go to with my dogs, I just haven't taken one to him for a holistic appointment yet due to the cost being pretty steep. It's time to do it now for my furry little girl.
Thank you for all of your information. She loved getting oils on her today, and licked her chops when I gave her the Frankincense along her gums. The boys just had to be all over her, smelling her, when she came out of the room. I just put a dot of each oil on my fingertip, not even a full drop, and ran it along her spine, but next time I'll use the FCO.
Should I use the FCO when I do her gums too?

I also see a holistic vet who recommends using oils. You do really
have to dilute them though. I didn't at first and gave him a hot
spot! I cleared that up with a mixture of lavender, melaleuca and
frankincense in VCO. Their systems use the oils differently than ours
do and they need a lot less. I would definately try the frankincense
for seizures. You could mix some in a carrier oil and apply a couple
times a day for prevention. I bought the book Holistic Aromatherapy
fir Animals by Kristen Leigh Bell and found it quite informative. It's
not written with doterra in mind but I was able to learn enough and
apply my doterra knowledge to help my dogs.
Just FYI, I have not vaccinated my dogs since their initial puppy
shots. I do a blood test called a titer every so often instead and
seven years later, the tests prove they are still immune. Good luck!
