[Everything doTERRA] chemo and oils

I have one question regarding using essential oils with a cancer patient. My best friend is still going through chemo and wants to use the oils to help with her symptoms like memory loss, fatigue, and constipation. I know they also help eliminate toxins from our system, and chemo is putting the toxins in, thereby causing these symptoms. Can she use the essential oils safely without affecting her chemo treatments "effectiveness"? (Sorry, but I don't believe the stuff is effective, hence the quotes.)
