- All doTerra oils are tested by two independent laboratories for purity. We use the Gas Chromatography and the Mass Spectrometry. If there is any minute particles of chemicals or pesticides, or if the oils does not have the proper constituents then they are refused by doTerra. In order to back this up I suggest you contact productservice@doterra.com and ask for research papers, or product information that backs this up.
- Whole foods, along with most health food stores carry essential oils. They specify, "not to be taken internally", right there you know the oil is not pure. According to FDA standards they only have to have 10% real oil in order to qualify as pure or therapeutic.
- doTerra knew that they would have to raise the bar on what they offered to the public in regards to whole pure oils. In order to do this they created a set of standards to follow and when these testing standards are complete and the oil is accepted, it is then know as CPTG (Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade)

She also wanted to know if, say you are using the oils to help you
sleep at night, are you going to have to use them every night there
after in order to help you get to sleep because your body has become

This person is HUGE on research, documentation supporting that
research. She's an attorney. So, not only do I want to be able to
answer these questions for her, I would also like to know where to get
the information to back up what everyone tells us about the doTERRA
oils.
