Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: dogs, seizures, and our oils

Thank you, Tanya. I could add Frank to the diffuser too, or have someone do it while I soothe her. I'll give your suggestions a try!

My concern over the other dogs licking it off of her was for her not getting enough benefit, not any harm to them, btw. Darned dogs love to lick salve and everything else off of each other when you're trying to heal them, LOL!

I would get frankincense on your pooch as soon as a seizure starts, or
do it daily morning and night. My dog is the same size as yours and
loves to lick a drop of frank off my palm, but i also do a drop or two
and spread it down her body. It won't hurt your dogs if they lick
frank, balance or lavender off the fur....they couldn't ingest enough
that way to cause a problem unless it was constant or large amounts.
If it were my dog having a seizure, i would rub a drop along her gums
(if you can get in there without getting your finger chomped!!!) or a
drop on the top of the skull. Hope that helps! I'd keep up with the
Balance too if she will allow it. Remember dogs don't need much, maybe
a drop or two is all we use.

Good luck! I hope it helps.
