my son just BARELY finished a bout of this. He is a little older, 15, but we put the Melaleuca around his eyes, almost every hour (or it wasn't as effective). We also applied the oils on the reflex points for the sinuses and the eyes on his hands and feet, and we put OnGuard in his water, 2 or 3 drops and that is what he drank ALL day. I diffused OnGuard as well to protect the rest of the family - nobody else got it (I think it was Pink Eye) and he was right as rain in about 4 days. Consistency was the key. Every hour on the hour we put the oils on him and before he went to bed. He even took his keychain to school w/ Melaleuca, once he was able to go again, and didn't have discharge anymore, just to make sure that he got rid of all of it.Kate
