Robyn from NSW here.

Firstly thank you so much Pat for your generous and loving and
continuous support for all those needing our assistance.

Also Joanna, thank you for bringing this enormous situation in your home
state into the everythingdoterra forum.

I have sent two emails re above situation over last three days to our
upline and corporate and it is wonderful to hear how they intend to
respond.

Also Pat, thank you so much for organising the collection etc. It is
very much appreciated.

The heavy rains and flooding have affected an area of Queensland
Australia the size of France & Germany combined and also affected
Northern New South Wales, Parts of rural Victoria and St.Helens in
Tasmania.

Of great concern, as Joanna mentioned first of all is the muddy waters
and the resulting putrid mud.
There is:

- Contamination with sewerage
- Dead animals etc
- Human garbage & waste
- Decomposing crops and vegetation
- Trees, logs, debris, demolished houses, buildings, boats etc

Snakes(venemous) will be prevalent now the rain has stopped (for now?)

Unfortunately the venom from most Aussi venomous snakes affect the
nervous system. The venom is NOT Haemophilic. Melaeuca (the original
Snake Oil helps with bites from snakes whose venum is haemophilic eg
rattlesnakes etc.)
Large scary bull-nose sharks are prevalent in muddy rivers in
Northern NSW.

- Mosquitoes will breed in any stagnant/still water
etc etc etc

public Health officials are concerned re

- e coli etc.

- any breaks in skin will become infected from a myriad of micro
organisms

- People may get food poisoning from contaminated food. Electricity
has been cut to 120,00 homes in Qld and may not be restored for weeks
in some areas.

Spread of fevers and viruses from mosquitoes like

- Ross River Virus

- Bahma Forest Virus
etc. etc.

- Dengue Fever This has to be introduced in to Qld form outside. It
is not endemic as such. It is spread by a much larger mosquito than
the other viruses.

- Respiratory complaints from MOULDS etc.

Black mould etc will really take a hold as the hot, humid, sunny summer
weather returns.

- Emotional issues eg anger, grief, anxiety, depression etc

So we can see that there is a lot that can be addressed.

Like you, I am thinking -

the On Guard Range

Melaleuca(Tea Tree), Eucalyptus, Clove, Cinnamon Bark,
Oregano, Lemon, Lavender, Thyme, Melissa(expensive so
maybe not as initial use), DigestZen.

And of course all the wonderfull oils and blends that assist
with emotional issues.
