[Everything doTERRA] Are doTERRA essential oils Organic?

I have seen this question cruising around the message board before and
when David Hill and Stirling were in Australia for their visit someone
asked the question and David Hill had the best answer! (and just a
side note... if you have never seen these guys speak in person go see
them! Don't let the suits scare you, these guys are fun and
informative you will have an awesomely amazing time!)

Dr. Hill said:
"In the beginning when they first came up with the term "Organic" it
meant no pesticides or herbicides. Since then there have been changes
in the "definition" of the word and now it has come to mean (Had once
grown on a plant or tree.) That is a very different meaning.

There is so much confusion today about the word organic that we didn't
want to add to it by going there.

Are doTERRA oils organic by the original sense of the word? Yes, we
have only certified pure therapeutic grade oils that are tested to
make sure there are no traces of pesticides or herbicides in them.

Do we carry the name Organic? No, there was not a term for the quality
of oils we offer, so we created own own terminology to show that we
have the highest quality of oils you can get in the world today. CPTG
(Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade)"
