thanks for the clue with the baking soda, I don't use a lot of it but I do use it
faithfully and so far my hygenist has not commented on my enamel getting thin.
I am watching it closely and will cut back on the usage.

You can make your own tooth powder with bentonite or white clay,
various powdered herbs and whatever doTERRA oil you like.  Since doing
this myself, I gag every time I  think about the foamy toothpaste I
used to use.
