Re: [Everything doTERRA] Warfarin (Blood Thinner)

I would base an oil protocol on whatever issues you have, ie. thrombosis, high risk of embolism or heart issues, maybe you have stints or artificial heart or artery hardware.  Ether way, I would coordinate this one with your doctor. Let him know you want to get off Warfarin and you are trying some alternative methods.  He will likely try to talk or scare you out of it.  (And he likely gets a kickback from bristol myers or barr labs) Tell him you want to keep on getting tested, but do not want to risk the long term side effects that come with Coumadin or Warfarin.

In the mean time, what is the issue??

Has anyone had any experience of replacing Warfarin with oils.  It is
very tricky since when on Warfarin you need to get tested every so
often to make sure the dosage is correct otherwise all sorts of
complications can happen.  Warfarin would have to be the biggest all
time selling drugs and I didn't want to be on it but didn't have a
choice in the beginning.  We are really over a barrel with this I
think because it is such an emotional choice. I noted from an earlier
email today that Peppermint has blood thinning properties - but how
would one know how much to use?
