[Everything doTERRA] Re: Dog with Tumors

Sometimes there is indication for a visit to the vet, this situation
sounds like one of them. Once the tumors get to the size you are
speaking, they are causing considerable discomfort to the pet by
causing ear infection, etc. Imagine what it would feel like to have
that in your own ear. The vet will most likely want to prescribe an
antibiotic pre and post surgery. At this point your friend can choose
to try some essential oils on the pinnae only, not down the ear
canal. The ears can be cleaned first with a mild vinegar solution.
Frankincense on location will help the incisions heal and prevent
further cell proliferation. Frankincense would most likely shrink
these tumors, but making this poor puppy suffer while waiting for it
to work seems a bit unfair. Prevention is the key and starting
treatment when tumors first appear. Melaleuca and lavender would help
the bacterial and fungal component of the ear infection. Diet change
as well will help prevent tumors. I look forward to hearing how
this dog is doing.
