RE: [Everything doTERRA] constipation

Hi Brenda,
In many cases just increasing water, vegetables and fruit in the diet will eliminate this problem. See if he would drink a glass of water an hour make it around 4-6 ounce size. Instead of Prune Juice a bowl of Prunes. Sometimes a tablespoon of olive oil at bed time will also assist. Also, can he walk at all? If he can this could help both the pain and the constipation. Not a marathon just a walk, increase it a little each day, think in terms of walk 20 minutes, sit 20 minutes and lay down 20 minutes. This off and on pressure can help with pain control, if he can walk. If he is bed ridden talk to a geriatric physical therapist they can work wonders.
