Re: [Everything doTERRA] sugar scrub recipe

I use fine sea salt. Then I add some baking soda. You can also add epson salts, put them in the blender. I put them in a blender to make them more fine and not so scratchy. You can just play with how much of each you put in, it's really up to you. Then add melted coconut oil. You can use any kind of oil, but coconut seems to be the most inexpensive for me (but I live in Australia so it could just be the best for here.) You want to mix in the oils and the salts together until it's a good consistancy for you. The more oil the better, but not so much that you lose the salt scrubby feel.
A good rule of thumb for putting in the essential oils is: put in one drop per cup of salts. More or less. Make sure that you don't add any oils that are going to be too hot like cinnamon or cloves. You want to make sure they are soothing to the skin.

It's all about playing and seeing what works. I think most people just play until they figure out the recipie they like best :)
Love and hugs,
Joanna

Hi Pat,
I have NEVER EVER made any scrubs in my entire life...would you give me some hints on ratios and with the doTerra oils being more potent, do I need less? When you make them at the "spa parties" in what container do you send it home with guests?
Thanks a ton :)
