Yes, some people that are hyperallergenic, o r very sensitve to many things, despite their purity or being natural or organic.  If someone is like this, I would begin any suppliment or oil routine with caution.  Having said that, the only thing I've ever heard was someone suspecting an allergy to some properties in the actual gel caps.

A link to shellfish and anything in the llw pills seems very unlikely, but I would recommend caution.  Maybe start out with very low doses, and gradually work up to RDA or AI.
