If you ask the spirit (energy) of the plant to help the person it will. Part of the reason plants and plant oils work is because of the chemical composition, part of it is the energy of them. That plant's energy has a consciousness (plant deva) and can be utilized just like Reiki guide. It's just a matter of tapping into it. Essential you can do a whole treatment with just the energy of the oils and have the same effect.
