Re: [Everything doTERRA] gallbladder

I was reading my first post, and I don't want to make it sound like I am advising you or your sister in law to not have your gallbladder removed; that is between her and her doctor.  I was just explaining what I would do if I were looking for options.

There are some that have had GB removal and have no complaints.  My personal experience has been that there are very few that realized the side effects of no gallbladder until it is too late.

Here is a site that has some testimonials both ways.

I live in Boise Idaho. I had my gallbladder removed 15 years ago
at the age of 20. About 4 years ago
I started having pain and severe digestion problems (chonic diarehea with bright yello liquid, pain and fatigue). After 2 years, weight loss, and a bunch of expensive tests, my gastro DR did an ERCP and removed small stones and sludge. The procedure was terrible; I was kept
in the hospital for days because of nausea, vomiting and fever. I do NOT want to have that procedure again. I have felt good for 2 years but I am starting to have pain again with dizziness and fatigue. I am feeling hopeful after finding your website and seeing that I am not
the only one who has continued to get stones.

My gallbladder was removed over 15 years ago. Now my weight is 400. I still have attacks, some lasting 9 days. Tests come back negative for stones, colon problems. What now? What should I eat. I am exercising and have started to lose weight. Please help. In HIS service joyfully: Linda

I have seen the apple juice, lemon juice, olive oil protocal work several times, I would also add  LOTS OF WATER WITH 4-6 drops of lemon in every 8-10oz of water.  And drink half your body weight in oz, each day.  (if you wiegh 170, drink at least 85 oz of water daily) We have also given people digest zen for internal and external application, but to tell you the truth, I do not know if the DZ helped with pain or the stones.  I like to think it did.  If I were going through it again, I would apply DZ to my abdomen and white fir and frankincense wherever I had pain.

I have heard from numerous people that have had or have relatives or friends that have had their gallbladder removed that they regret it.  It has an important function. Further, for many others, gallbladder "attacks" continue even in the absence of a gallbladder!

When the gallbladder is removed, vitamins A, E, D, K, and essential fatty acids are not absorbed properly. Unfortunately, the symptoms of declining fat-soluble vitamins and essential fats come on slowly and most often, unnoticeable. Health problems can be many and varied, associated with a deficiency of any or all of these fat-soluble vitamins.

Who would guess that removal of the gallbladder, especially without replacement of bile salts (by the way, it is NEVER suggested in conventional medicine), could contribute to the premature development of so many and varied health problems, all related to fat soluble nutrient assimilation?

If she has a month, have her try the protocol, have her research the removal of the gallbladder.  Have her look up the testimonials of those who have had the surgery, especially.

For me, I would do ANYTHING to avoid surgery, especially if it is curable!!

My Sister-In-Law is due to have her gallbladder out later this month.  I would like to help her naturally, I know about the gallbladder cleanse with apple juice and the olive oil and lemon juice, I read about coconut oil, marshmallow root tea and foot massage.  No one has mentioned DigestZen has anyone used it for this?  Would this be helpful?  Any other suggestions?
