What would you do if you had an old scar that is still purplish and reddish (c-section) after 6 years? And another person asked me what to do with a scar on the leg that is closed but you can still see the scar and it looks like scar tissue.

I have been using lavender on my c-section scar that had never healed really and I am noticing a difference in color, not as red, however after I apply it it burns like crazy....is that normal?
