She is 3 years, 1 month old and in excellent health. We had to do one
dosage of antibiotics at age 12 mo for a fever / ear infection that
would not resolve any other way (this was before I started with oils -
in fact, it drove me to seek them out). She is not immunized and has
had no illnesses other than 2 minor colds. She teethed quickly and
with little pain. She got her 2 year molars early and without any
difficulty. I would say that she is the healthiest member of our
family.
The lipoma started to 'grow' at the same time her hemangiomas did - at
about 5 months old. At 12 months old, it was obvious what the
hemangiomas were, and the lipoma was about the size of a quarter at
that time. It grew over the next year until it reached about 2 inches
in diameter about 1 inch 'tall'. It stopped growing at age 2 years
(as far as I can tell) and has remained relatively the same for the
last year. BTW, the hemangiomas are already disappearing. (I had
experience with these on my first born, too)
We do not have health insurance and that is why it hasn't been looked
at since 1 yr old. (when 2 different drs. told me it was a
hemangioma) I took her in with me to my naturopathic m.d. and that's
when I found out the 'new' diagnosis. The doctor recommended to do
nothing unless it changes (and to seek a surgeon to remove it at age
8-10 years).
It is on the back side of her shoulder on the 'hump' of the shoulder
blade (it almost looks like she has 2 shoulders - 1 in the right place
and 1 just below). It does not bother her. I don't think she was
aware of it until about 2 months ago when I started putting oils on
it.
I will continue with the frankincense daily and plan to do some
helichrysum (when I can afford it). I try to take a picture of it
every 6-8 weeks so that I can monitor changes.
