There are fish oil concentrates that have higher amounts of EPA and DHA. That doesn't make their EPA or DHA any better or different than ours, their concentrate simply has a higher percentage of EPA and DHA. You could purchase a stand-alone fish oil supplement from a store and get more EPA and DHA per 1000 mg of fish oil if they used the higher concentrate fish oil. You need to be careful about too cheap a fish oil product as they could be sourced from fish oils that are not fresh or contain heavy metals. (A fish oil concentrate with higher amounts of EPA and DHA is simply more expensive per mg than a lower concentrate of EPA and DHA.) Can you find a fish-oil product with more EPA and DHA than EO Mega at a lower price, yes. But be careful with such comparisons.
Comparing a stand-alone fish oil supplement purchased in a store with higher EPA and DHA to our EO Mega is not completely apples to apples. Our EO Mega also contains the land oil blend and, more importantly, the daily dose of our essential oils that are also important for health. We also encourage people to look at the total LLW system and what they are getting for the price. Anyone would be hard pressed to find a program with all of the ingredients we have included in our system for the Consultant price. You can find individual products with more EPA and DHA, or more resveratrol, or more coenzyme Q-10, or more of a particular vitamin, but you won't find a comparable program where you get a high level of all these important ingredients together.
We formulated our program with very high amounts of the ingredients we felt would have the most significant impact on your health. We also wanted to keep the price point at a level where everyone can participate. There are some ingredients, such as DHA and EPA, that I would like to have put in at a higher level, but we balanced good, solid amounts of the good ingredients with higher amounts of the excellent ingredients.
I would counsel our customers not to focus on just one ingredient in a product, but look at the complete package and the benefits delivered. We are looking at ways to improve our program all the time, but it represents a powerful program at a tremendous value as currently formulated.

My sister's husband works for a vitamin store and claims that our eo
mega does not contain enough EPA or DHA fish oils. Online, another
source claims you need at least 650 mg total of these forms daily and
ours adds up to 300 mg. Can anyone explain why ours appears to be
low? Is that information about needing much more even accurate?
