Re: [Everything doTERRA] animal injuries

Ok Pat,

does this go for people too?  Cuz if I let my kids or grandkids or even Jon smell the oils before I applied them, they would all start crying and run away really fast!!!!    I slap them on as fast as I can and tell them to "shut the heck up, stop your whining, these are good for you!"      But then, after they have them on, they start to feel better and it's ok.

Think my family might have a little bit of a "smelling" sensory issue?!?!   Their just a bunch of wimps!   Oh no, I better go apply the oils on the mood map, to myself!!!

Helichysum does a great job on knitting bones and on scar tissue. You use a
much smaller portion on an animal. If you have a bottle of it, simply open it
by your dog and then call  your dog to you, if it comes willingly then the oils
will help, if it won't come near you with the open bottle then it won't help.
You can try this with other oils as well, such as Marjoram or Frankincense.
One drop with carrier oil and rub it on the affected area.

I understand that animals have a good recovery rate with essential
oils.  We have a 2 year old dog whose leg was broken.  Surgery was not
good and they say there was too much scar tissue to do anything...let
nature take it's course.  Are there any oils I could be using to help
the recovery of the pup.. Thanks for the help
