Re: [Everything doTERRA] How to book Dr. Mom parties

It is so hard when you want to shout from the rooftops about how wonderful
these oils are isn't it!!! I totally understand! I had my first Dr. Mom
party and 2 people showed up (and they were relatives!) :-) My second went
just as well, and my third, I had 6 people come. The cool thing is, I just
continued to share with people individually, and it is paying off! Only 2
signed-up at first, but all the others were happy to tell others about what
I'm doing, and the word of mouth works! They are now sharing information
with everyone else they come in contact with...and they are spreading the
message for me! I have just had to look at it as planting one little seed
at a time. I think it is great if you host Dr. Mom parties, and invite
others to bring a friend or relative too....start small, and it will build
itself. Like Justin H. says, the oils will sell themselves.
I have also started a new thought process about the cost. I had a bit of a
hard time at first asking others to spend 100 a month, just because I know
so many people who are struggling financially. Then I started looking at it
in a different way. It would cost me (because we are self-employed and
insurance is crap) - over $120.00 per child to take my kids to a Doctor just
for the office visit! That wouldn't include any presrip or other
medications (such as over the counter, etc...) So, I'm saving that cost and
have for over 6 months now! Not only that, but what other "business" can
you invest in, and only have a $100-$150 minimum overhead cost per month???
My husband is a Realtor, and his costs per month exceed over $3,000 to just
be a Realtor - and you never know when a house will sell!! We've gone 6-8
months without a paycheck from time to time in the 15 years he's been doing
real estate! That's some pretty large overhead! This 'investment" with
doTERRA is not only going to pay off for me in the future - but it is
helping my family be healthy in the present! It's an empowering feeling!
Good luck and be patient! It will come!
