I too put a few drops of lemon or peppermint etc. in SS water containers and so far I have to agree with you, it works great !
I need to know about SS containers in the 2-15ml size for full strength oils and if there are any problems associated with that.

Yes, glass is safe for the oils but breakable. For example if you have an emergency backpack/ disaster preparedness kit you want to pack oils in along with food and gear.
I don't feel good about putting oils into plastic containers either, no matter how good the quality is.
It would be good to know if there is a ceramic type coating on the stainless.
