To start with, what is he eating?  

We have a "switch" in our stomach that tells our brain that it is full and it sounds like his brain is not registering that he is full. 

Make sure he is not getting alot of foods that contain high frustose corn syrup as it disrupts this signal.

Has he taken antibiotics?  It could be that he has a candida issue.  From personal experience with candida there are times I do not feel full and could and have just kept eating until I could burst.  Maybe GX Assist & PB Assist to start with???
