Wow, this is amazing. I use Baking Soda as an antiperspirant, and have used it for years instead of store bought deodorant. I dissolve 1/2 tsp in 1oz ionized water and wait till it separates. I keep shaking it up till it dissolves, then pour off the clear water left. I then put it into a 15ml. spray bottle with Whisper(8dr) or Serenity(8dr) or Elevation(8dr) and combine it with 2 or 3 drps of Frankincense and use that for my deodorant. Everyone always asks me what I'm wearing cause it smells so good. The more I use it, the more it builds up control for wetness. I still sweat, but no more stinky, and no more under arm wet clothes.

You can find the article at www.mercola.com. The Arm and Hammer
website also has a lot of uses for baking soda. I did look into the
aluminum/non-aluminum issue and it seems valid to me, so no more
bright orange bags for me! If you order from the Bob's Red Mill site,
you can get 25 lb bags of soda for about $18.00 each. I use it in my
laundry and household cleaning, so I use a lot, and buying in bulk is
much cheaper than the health food store. You can't really "hurt"
anything by using baking soda, so feel free to experiment.
