When my son first got braces he also got the blisters and it was just because it was something new in his mouth that the tongue and everything had to get use to being in there. At night he would rub his tongue on the braces without even realizing it when he was sleeping. As far as oils I would swish some meleluca with c.oil a couple times a day to see if that helps with the blisters.
