[Everything doTERRA] Re: Lactose intolerant

My husband is "lactose intolerant," but he tolerates raw milk just fine.  Many people find that quality raw milk is a great solution if their body doesn't make lactase, the enzyme required to digest lactose.  (The enzyme lactase is present in milk, but killed off by pasteurization.) 

However, there is a small segment of the population that is allergic to the cow's milk protein.  In this case, cow's milk in general will irritate their digestion, and it's better to switch to goat's milk.

I'm going to try giving my husband some DigestZen next time we're out and he wants ice cream!  He hasn't had it in a long time...
