Subject: [Everything doTERRA] Re: irregular heartbeat

I have had episodes of irregular heartbeat for many years, which several times has progressed to atrial fibrillation.  Every doctor I have seen has given me a diagnosis of "anxiety".  While an irregular heartbeat can cause anxiety, I believe there is more to it than that.  Try looking at other things like soda pop, chocolate, and other things that contain stimulants, or an unrecognized infection somewhere in the body.  Over the counter medications like antihistamines can also trigger arrhythmias.

I would get an inexpensive blood pressure monitor, one that displays an icon if the beat is irregular and also measures the pulse rate.  If the pulse rate stays high for any length of time, blood can collect in the chambers of the heart instead of being passed through them, the blood clots, breaks away and goes to the brain resulting in a stroke.

How does the 16-year-old feel--tired, anxious?  What is the pattern of the irregular heartbeat--skipping beats, very fast, churning?   A pulse rate over 120 beats and an irregular beat is diagnosed as atrial fibrillation.

What kind of a doctor are they dealing with?  He should see a good cardiologist.
