[Everything doTERRA] Melissa for virus

Can I give Melissa to an almost 6 yr old? She keeps coming down with
strep. She's had it 3 times in the last couple months. Today she has
come down with a "virus" as the doctor put it. Not strep but just
"virus". Can I give this to her or is it too strong? If so, how much?
