As far as I know helichrysum will close up the wound, so you want to make sure you have an oil on there to disinfect too. My friend had a really bad concussion just recently  and we diffused frankincense and put it directly on location as well and put balance on her feet. She was well enough to walk around again in a matter of days.
Hope this helps.

Subject: [Everything doTERRA] stitches/"slight" concussion

I just had a 16 yr old slice his ear open, he's got stitches from the
top of his ear to the bottom.

I'm thinking helichrysum.  Will it sting?  How about frankincense?
I'm thinking the helichrysum won't sting as much as the frankincense
will.

Any ideas on other oils?

He's got the "slight concussion" thing going on.  Just frankincense
for his brain? lol! No seriously though.  frankincense?

Thanks so much!
Kendra
