[Everything doTERRA] Lavender and Hormones

Does anyone have any advice on what to tell a concerned parent that came to me wanting to know more about Lavender and it's effect on estrogen levels in young boys? I remember hearing about this few years back and assumed that it could not be true that Lavender ad any harmful side effects.
