[Everything doTERRA] coughing

My son was getting a cold so for days I used all the oils I could
think of. Onguard, melaleuca, breathe, eucalyptus, lime, I even used
frankincense down his back -, even some oregano. Then I stopped
because I had him on them for about 10 days. I thought I would give
him a break and he had developed a rash on his chest. But still I
diffuse and he is fine every night. He wakes up in the morning and
starts coughing. I can't seem to get the coughing out of there! What
should I use? Every day he is coughing. This is still 2 or 3 weeks
later.?? Thank you
