I'd personally be ok with flying with the oils, but I don't think I'd bring my entire "treasure chest" of them. I might even select bottles that have less oils left in them too.
If there's more than one of you on the trip, you can divvy up the oils. Like I'd put a few in my husband's bag (ones that he uses), a few in the diaper bag (baby needs) and then a few for me.

Our biggest concern is being able to take the oils with us on the
plane. We were planning on just mailing what we needed to my mom's,
seems like less of a hassel. If I apply the oils before we leave will
they last the whole flight? It's a four to eight hour flight -
depending on if we have to make a stop or not (still hoping to find a
non-stop ticket. the less times I have to get on a plan the less
severe it is for me.)
