Re: [Everything doTERRA] Thyroid issues

I have to also add that I went completely gluten free as my chiropractor told me that gluten has shown to have a bad effect on hashimoto. I have had more energy going gluten free too. Just thought I should add that too since it didn't occur to me to add that in my previous email Smile emoticon

She used a couple drops of each on the Thyroid and 2 drops under the tongue twice a day. Thank you so much for your info it really helps all of us.

Thanks,
Pat

I will keep an eye on this thread, as I am having similar issues. I have hashimoto thyroid issues ( hypo) and have been able to lose 10 pounds in 2 months, which is slower than average of a person using slim and sassy, but I'll take what I get Smile emoticon I have gone through 3 bottles in 2 months. Now my weight loss has stagnated.
For my fatigue issue associated with the thyroid problem I have found that diffusing citrus bliss and peppermint seems to help me. I also drink peppermint water about 2 -3 times a day. Some days I just put some citrus bliss under my nose or on my wrists when I know I am not going to be in the sun very much or at all. And all I can add is that I have to drink a TON more water than the average person to help with the sluggishness and it also seems that I have to eat a lot more veggies (I have the fruit covered Winking smile emoticon) and then I can kick that thyroid induced sluggishness to the curb.
Please keep us informed on how she is doing. I will let you know should I find something else that works on me. Good luck to her! I have yet to try the LLW, but I hear it is really good for auto immune issues.
Pat, how much of the Frankincense and Lemongrass do I rub on my thyroid, just a drop each? Thanks

Melanie

I would suggest she use the oils on her thyroid first. The Slim and Sassy works to suppress the apetite and boost the metabolism.
When she has other issues that make it difficult for the SS to work its magic. I know others who use Frankincense and Lemongrass
rubbed directly on the thyroid and drop Frankincense under their tongue twice a day. She might want to try this while she is taking
the SS.
If she is not on the LLW, you might want to suggest that to her. She has some medical conditions to address along with her desire
to lose weight.

Hello to all of you experts!

I need some help in helping a friend. She has gone through an entire bottle of Slim N Sassy and says she hasn't seen any results. She was doing 3-5 drops 3 times a day and we increased her to 5 drops 5 times a day.   She does have Thyroid issues and is experiencing lots of fatigue.  What would you recommend?   I guess I was thinking that the Slim N Sassy would help a sluggish thyroid.
