I have thyroid disease and it sounds to me like she needs to have some blood work done to adjust her thyroid dosage. If she is tired she could be either high or low. Also, she needs to talk to her doctor about bio-identical thyroid if she is not currently taking some. Weight loss will be much more difficult she needs to do light exercise...walking, swimming, yoga- not the arobic types they stress an already stressed body, a stressed body hangs on to weight tightly. None of this means the slim and sassy isn't working. I have found it to be very valuable...just not as immediate as it is for others.
