[Everything doTERRA] Eucalyptus

I was looking in my Valerie Worwood book on essential oils what to do
for a cough and she said to put a drop of eucalyptus and lemon in
honey and warm water and to sip it. But on our bottle of eucalyptus
it says for aromatic and topical use. It doesn't say internal use.
Is it okay to use internally?
