Re: [Everything doTERRA] stinky socks

Bacteria is the problem, and nearly all essential oils are anti bacterial, so have at it.  The big thing is that he wash his feet well everyday.  After ward choose your favorite oil.  Say... balance, citrus bliss, peppermint, something with a good scent.  Apply generously to the whole foot, including between the toes and put on some clean socks.  Putting a couple drops in his shoes might help too.  If you have a small spray bottle, even better.  When you wash his socks, include a few drops of Melaleuca or purify in the wash.

Have him change shoes after school.  Little boys run the feet hot.  A change of shoes will help with moister.  Have him wear socks only inside the home.

Happy Stink!

I have a child (12 year old boy) with extremely stinky socks.  Just
walking by the hamper can sometimes be quite unbearable.  So this
morning I put the socks in a bowl and covered them with baking soda.
After about an hour I added HOT water and a drop of purify to try and
get rid of not only the stick but what ever is stuck in those socks
that seems to be causing the problem.  Any ideas for my son's feet?
or a better idea for the socks themselves?  THanks  Alisse
