Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Mental Health Struggles of a Teenage Brother

I'll see if I can tell a difference - I would prefer layering but she needs the vetiver and the lavender works so perfectly with it and I would like the balance done separately so maybe I will keep that one separate since it is already a blend - thanks!

Kathy, from my understanding of the blends, it is a somewhat pre-caution for mixing too many blends together in that they won't have the same potency needed. I usually use maybe one blend with several other single blends. I don't have anything to back that up, but just something I read somewhere, and can't remember where. Maybe someone else might have a comment to add to that, or some documentation. Thanks, Happy oiling,

I use them on the bottom of the feet and I forgot Frankinsence - the vetiver is also helpful to let him smell as well as on the bottom of the feet and is best used with lavender in my experience.
I would take the info one of the girls sent to you about testing everything - I also know someone here in Southern Utah who is a registered nurse who also does amazing things for all kinds of issues, mental and physical that also might be helpful and it is alternative therapy.  Let us know what you do and please keep us informed, this information can help so many people so please let us know what works for him - my problem with one of my daughters is that she is very negative and has many ADD symptoms and also dyslexia and is very defiant.  She finally agreed if I made her a rollerball with everything mixed together that she would use it herself at night before bed and in the morning (on the bottom of feet) so I am mixing all these together for her to use in a rollerball - balance, frankincense, elevation in one rollerball and vetiver & lavender in another.  She loves peppermint so we may have to add peppermint to them too LOL

My brother lives in Idaho Falls (I am in Utah County). How would he
use these oils, Kathy?
