After doing additional research trying to figure out some options, I made a body butter with Shea butter and coconut oil. I added Frankincence, heilicrism, geranium, lavender and sandle wood.
I gave it to her at the end of her shift and saw how bad her hands were. Cracked, inflamed, chapped and bleeding. It actually seems that her skin breaks down while she is wearing the gloves in surgery. The poor thing was in agony. She had the next day off. When I saw her two days later, she ran up to me hugging and kissing me. Her hands had recovered remarkably well and she wasn't dreading the work day. They still looked a bit raw and inflamed, but they looked soooo much better and she wasn't in pain. She was amazed at how fast it worked because she usually can't get any relief for days and after the first application, the burning and itching stopped and started to heal.
