since the last post, I went to another doctor and he convinced me I was having an allergic reaction, mainly because I told him I had put VCO and melaluca on it. He gave me a steriod cream. I questioned why the fever if it was an allergic reaction, so he also gave me a perscription for cephalexin. The cream seemed to be working so I didn't take the antibiotic. Little did I know the cream was only masking the problem and 5 days later I broke out on my other arm and all over my face. My face swelled up like a balloon. Over the weekend I tried benedryl thinking I was having an allergic reaction to the oils, even though I have been using them successfully for a year. By Tuesday morning I broke down and went to the emergency room because my face was getting worse. It was swollen and weeping. They told me it was impetigo They told me to take the cephalexin and gave me mupirocin. I was so miserable I broke down and started using the antibiotics. My face has cleared up, mostly. Very dry and peeling. The original rash on my wrist however, is bigger and very angry red. Reacts horribly to anything I put on it including the Mupirocin. The other spot on my arm also is not clearing up. I am fearful of getting it back on my face, so am continuing with the antibiotic, which my doctor prescribed another 10 day supply. I cannot sleep and am very unstable. Any little itch makes me nervous.I began to think over the weekend that this may not just be an infection but may be continuing due to emotional stress. My dad passed away on Thanksgiviging. I thought I was getting better emotionally untill all of this broke out. In addition to the rashses, I have now come down with a cold.I am still taking the antiobiotic but have cut back to 2 a day, instead of 4. I was taking the GX, but switched over to PB assist on Saturday, due to the cold and being very dehydrated. Started gargling on-guard Saturday, due to the cold. This has helped with the sore throat and chest congestion I started Terrazyme yesterday. I was cleaning all the rashes twice a day with the foaming clear skin (the only thing that seemed to calm my face, but is not working on my wrist and arm) I was also using a mixture of geranium, patchouli and melaluca mixed with water in spray bottle. I sprayed the infected areas about every two hours. My arm starting weeping again this morning. I am a mess and don't know what to do.
