A couple of comments...
First for those who are new or aren't building a team there are
just a couple of posts where there is an issue. This isn't something
that is common or a huge problem everywhere. In every organization there
are going to be some 'bad beans'.
Second, I've had talks with other builders/team leaders and it
always ends the same way if they will even meet with you. They justify
their actions and shift blame elsewhere and then just get angry at
everyone and make everyone feel bad. I tried this a couple of times and
it just wasn't productive. My feeling is you get a good indication if
the IPC asks the upline to sign the transfer form and they say no how it
is going to go (I've yet to see one agree to it). So I don't recommend
it, it just creates animosity and resentment. I don't particularly enjoy
having someone lie to me and that is what has always happened.
Third, I think you can bloom where you are planted even if you are
quite a distance from your team. My direct upline is Platinum and she is
a very long way from her upline. This group is a wonderful resource,
www.everythingessential.me is a wonderful resource as is the Modern
Essentials book. As for building, www.reinventinghealthcareinfo.com has
wonderful webinars, www.builddoterra.com has wonderful webinars. There
are all sorts of power points and webinars all over the web. If you
watch a webinar on a subject 5 times, you can present it. It takes
practice, no question but it can be done. I have been blessed with
wonderful uplines and support yet when I am presenting a topic for the
first time I practice it over and over and over again. I also try to
anticipate any questions and practice my answers.
You can also contact your Diamond and she can look and see if there
is anyone else on the team in your area, you might be surprised (this is
a newer virtual office feature). I can't even fathom a Diamond that
would not help. I can't even imagine a Silver that would not help.
