Re: [Everything doTERRA] Oils to help mastitis?

Not the oil answer you're looking for, but pre-doTerra, I helped my daughter get over a pretty nasty case of mastitis using GSE.   Grapefruit Seed Extract.  Amazing stuff.   Nature's antibiotic.  She was better within 2 hours.

I'm not a pro with the oils, but I would think anything antibiotic-like, like OnGuard, Oregano and Cinnamon....the things I would use to treat an infection if I had one...

Good luck!

Can anyone share how long it took for the mastitis to go away after starting the oils, and what the protocol was?

A friend has a plugged duct and fever spikes and red breasts.  Her midwives are recommending antibiotics, but she wants to avoid those.  Yesterday around noon I recommended this protocol:

3d Citrus Bliss in T coconut oil - rub on breasts 2x/day
6d oregano, 4d OnGuard, 3d lemon - in capsule 2x/day

Last night her fever spiked again.  This morning the midwives again urged antibiotics.  I think she would continue trying the oils if I could give testimonials of it working after 1-3 days...
