We're doing a couple of Christmas events where people pre-register and pay to make aromatherapy Christmas gifts to give to teachers, neighbors and friends. We are making terracotta pendants that come with a 15 drop sample of doTERRA essential oil, which can be worn as a necklace or hung in a car, closet or drawer for $1.50 each. We're making small packets of bath salts for $0.50 each and body sugar scrub in a cute glass jar for $3.00 each and spritzers for $1.50. Each gift will have cute ribbon and a nice tag that has an explanation of the therapeutic effects of the essential oils and my personal website for more info. It's a great way to market doTERRA. Because people are paying for the gifts (we won't be making anything on them, just being reimbursed for supplies), they will be more committed to come. We're doing both an evening class and a day-time class for stay-at-home parents where they can bring their kids. There will be several IPC's running the class so a couple will sit with the kids. It'll be an hour-and-a-half and the first 1/2 hour will be like a traditional class, where they'll learn about the essential oils and the last hour will be making the gifts. We have had a TON of interest already. It's a lot of work because you have to make up samples ahead of time and figure out your pricing, but I'm hoping it's worth it. Because the gifts are so much work and prep, we won't be doing any food, just hot cocoa with peppermint oil in it :) Hope that helps!
