Question: I have a friend newly diagnosed with type II diabetes. She is trying to figure out how she wants to work the oils into her life, so she used some of her free sample of wild orange in her water starting Monday night. Tuesday night she started the prescription. Within an hour of starting the prescription she broke out in hives! She used bendryll orally for the hives per her Dr's orders. When I saw her next morning I put lavender on her. They would clear up, but kept coming back. We thought it was an allergic rxn to prescription. This morning her husband asks about when she started using the orange oil (since the rash keeps coming back). She agreed to stop the oil to see if that was causing the hives.
OK, here's the question: Could the hives be detox from the orange oil? --
