Thought I add a post about bed sores. My father (90 years young in a
couple of weeks) had a hip replacement operation in January which was
very successful but caused him to remain in hospital for a month -
mostly because of his tender age. He now has a new lease on life but
I discovered that he'd been keeping something very quiet - bed sores!
These pressure sores had remained and were proving difficult to clear
up. He agreed to try some oils so I made him a blend in the following
proportions which he is putting on in a base of almond massage oil
(because, silly me, I'd left the FCO at home):
10 drops lavender
6 drops helichrysum
6 drops myrrh
4 drops geranium
4 drops melaleuca
A week later - bed sores are clearing up nicely!
