Christina,

Thank you so much for your indepth answers. Just because I know how to get

out there and make it work, doesn't mean someone else does. I look at your

great response and my "just get out there and be the product" comment, and

I am so appreciative of you taking the time for all of us.

Thanks,

Pat

Tanya,

Relax and Breathe.  I used to be in the high tech field where testing
results were common place to show how my fiber optic system was superior to
my competition.  But what is really a testing result? Simply a piece of
paper with data on it.  Anyone can give out a piece of paper with data;
however, the proof is in the product.  So I have some advice for you (I have
experience in sales, alternative healing and selling to some of those
elitist spa types).

1.) Dress the part - if it is a high end spa, where something black and
trendy. Simple colors, primary colors, earth tones are good too, do up the
hair and feel good about yourself because you are important and she is not
above you AT ALL!

2.) Be organized - have your oil case with as much variety as you can bring
so she can experience different singles and blends, have any handouts neatly
prepared and samples are good to leave behind (nothing too pricey).

3.)tell her that you are working on providing her with her testing results
but in the meantime you would like her to experience the oils - if she is at
a spa there should be a massage table!  If you don't know aromatouch then
improvise.  Make her feel like the oil expert (acknowledge how she must have
such a refined nose being so experienced with oils...) and have her select 3
or 4 oils she would like you to use and drop them one at a time down her
spine (4-7 drops) about 4" above her body, gently in a clockwise circle
apply (not a massage just spread them) Balance is a good one, so is the
aromatouch blend.  Let her feel the difference!

4.)be confident, sincere and listen to what she needs to make a decision,
then set up a follow up or close the sale right there if she wants to place
her order.
***If you have a lotus diffuser take it.  I always pull it out (have my
water with me in a bottle) and then ask where I can plug it in.  2 drops of
lavender & 3 drops of lemongrass is a great scent for spas - try to put it
where people can see it. This is a great retail product for a spa.

Good luck and have fun!!!!
Let us know how you do!!!

Hi all. I have been waiting for a call back from someone at doTERRA
for two days and haven't had a response, and now time is running out
for me. I have a meeting with a day spa tomorrow morning, 1 1/2 hrs
from my home so I need help tonight if possible!
The client told me she will not even look at the oils unless I bring
her gas chromatography and mass spectrometry results on some of our
oils. She didn't specify much more than that, and I am new at this and
it kind of threw me for a loop. I assured her I would bring her
something! She is a YL user at her spa now and this appt is important
to me. It's also my first sell to a spa or massage therapist, so any
advice? She has been a certified aromatherapist (among many other
things!) for over 10 years, so she knows so much more than me!
Customer service tells me they don't supply people with those types of
reports and said they would have Emily call me a few days ago. I can't
show up there with nothing...I need something! Can anyone help me?
I'm planning to bring her the Dare to Compare sheet as well as samples
of AromaTouch, Deep Blue and OnGuard. Any other suggestions on how to
handle this appt, where I am clearly on a whole lower level than her?
She asked me, "Are you even an aromatherapist?" my answer was no, I'm
a mom and a veterinary technician with a passion for my oils.  My
email is T_Widman@msn.com if anyone might be willing to send me
something I can print and bring in. Thanks so much!
