We were at Myrtle Beach for spring break this year and my daughter got poison ivy on her hand. I took a spray bottle with lavender and diluted it with grapeseed oil because I had it on hand. We sprayed it on her hand at least two to three times a day and wrapped it up. Within a day or two it was gone!!. There was an area around her knuckles that didn't get wrapped up quite as well. We made sure that part of her hand was wrapped and it was also got in a couple of days. I wrapped it because I didn't want her to itch it and have the poison ivy rash spread.
